Dr. Cindy Elsberry
That was the message conveyed by Dr. Cindy Elsberry, Superintendent of Horry County Schools; Chief Saundra Rhodes, Interim Chief of the Horry County Police Department; and Deputy Solicitor Jimmy Richardson of the 15th Judicial Circuit at a press conference held on May 4. Each addressed the impact that threats to schools have on education, law enforcement and the judicial system. A public service announcement was shared with local media to use in a community effort to stop the rash of nuisance threats to schools.
